Please fill out the form below. Each commission must be approved, which typically means the artist will work with you to find an appropriate reference photo to work from. It is preferable that the artist take the photography for the painting, however this is not always possible. If you are unable to book a photography session with the artist for your portrait, you will be asked to provide a few photos for the artist to choose from.

Pricing:

Pricing is based on medium, size, and number of figures/objects in a painting. These sizes listed are most popular, but if you would like something larger or a different medium, feel free to ask for a quote. Smaller doesn’t mean easier, which is why the smallest size I offer is an 8x10” containing one figure.

8x10” - 1 figure portrait in ink $350

11x14” - 2 figure portrait in ink $500

Photos guidelines:

• Clear, and high resolution

• The people in the photo must be close together, and it is preferable if there is a visual connection between them.

• It is recommended that the people in the photo are not looking straight into the camera.

• Gentle, loving smiles work better that big, toothy smiles.

• You may need to provide a few photos that show the personality of the people who are to be painted. It is easier to paint a true representation of a person if the artist has a feel of their personality.

What to expect in the commission process:

Once your photo is approved, you will get a PayPal invoice via email and the painting will begin!

Please allow 2-6 weeks for completion.

Once the painting is nearly completed, you will be sent a picture of the portrait. At this point you can let the artist know if you would like any changes, to make sure the representation is accurate and you are happy! I want you to be completely delighted by your portrait!

Once you are satisfied the painting will be well packaged in cardboard and bubble wrap to ensure it is not damaged in the mail, and sent your way! When the painting is completed you will receive a second PayPal invoice with the shipping charges. Your painting will be shipped upon payment and you will be sent tracking information.
